Function

As a Welding Robot Programmer, you will write welding programmes. You will therefore ensure the correct setting and finishing of products. You determine the welding strategy based on technical drawings. You will also optimise existing welding programmes. In addition:

Take care of storing the programmes on the machine and take care of backups;
Thinking about designing and partly developing moulds and tools;
Collect feedback from your colleagues to improve welding processes and welding jigs;
Ensure proper administration of jigs, tools and programmes at the welding robot;
Jump in as Operator, if needed, and willing to work shift work.

Job requirements

As a Welding Robot Programmer, you have demonstrable experience in the metal industry. You are also good at reading technical drawings with the corresponding welding indications. In addition:

Do you have experience in MIG/MAG welding;
Can work well in a team, but also independently;
Do you have an affinity for metal;
Work accurately with an eye for detail;
Do you have analytical skills.
