Then this is your chance to get started as a Junior Construction Specialist!
At SOMA Works, we are looking for all-rounders with two right hands and a healthy dose of motivation. Experience is not necessary - we will teach you the trade! You will work together with experienced colleagues on various construction projects: from foundations to finishing touches. Every day you will learn something new and see immediate results of what you do.
Function
Your duties will include:
- Performing demolition, carpentry, masonry and assembly work;
- Working with construction drawings and tools;
- Preparing building materials;
- Collaborate with colleagues on renovation projects;
- You will be supervised by experienced professionals who will teach you everything you need to know to progress within the construction industry.
Job requirements
For this position, we do not require direct experience, but mainly the right attitude and willingness to learn!
- You have an interest in construction and engineering;
- You are motivated to learn and do physical work;
- You would like to contribute to an overall project with a lot of varied work;
- You are reliable and keep appointments;
- Your command of the Dutch language is verbal and written;
- You live in Sittard or the surrounding area;
- Possession of driving licence B is a plus;
- VCA certificate is a nice touch (or willing to obtain it through us).
