We have a vacancy for you as an ETW-er/Tree keeper in Sittard. Introduction
As an ETW or arborist in South Limburg, you are the central force within our projects focused on tree and forest management.
You will be working outside every day, professionally pruning trees, including espaliers and pollarded trees. You often do this using an aerial work platform. You will also be responsible for thinning out and maintaining woodland plots. You usually work independently, but can also lead a team when the job requires it. You will then ensure that everything is done safely, professionally and on schedule.
Function
As an ETW'er/Tree Warden, your duties include:
- Maintaining and planting trees and vegetation in various green spaces;
- Expert tree pruning, including pollarding, crowning and companion pruning;
- Perform specialist tree care, both from the ground and using an aerial platform or climbing equipment;
- Identify tree diseases and damage, and take appropriate action where necessary.
Job requirements
As an ETW worker/Tree Warden, you are:
- You have a completed mbo education in green or related field;
- You have the ETW certificate and at least a VCA Basic diploma or you are willing to obtain these at short notice;
- You have experience with chain saws and can work safely with an aerial work platform; you have the corresponding certificates;
- You are comfortable working with modern, digital working methods and effortlessly use sophisticated and often electrical machines;
- Physical work is not a problem for you;
- Willing to work in Sittard and surrounding areas;
- Whether you have to work independently or with colleagues: you manage perfectly well in both situations.

- A salary between €2,500 and €3100 gross per month;
