    Looking for work as a Shipping Assistant?

    We have a vacancy for you as an Expedition Clerk in Maarheeze.

    Introduction

    Our client is a dynamic and growing metalworking company that supplies high-quality products to a variety of industries. For the logistics department, we are looking for an Expedition Officer to ensure that goods flows smoothly from receipt to dispatch. This position is open to both men and women - anyone with the right motivation and qualities is invited to apply.

    As an Expedition Clerk, you will be an important link in our organisation, supporting the team in preparing, controlling and organising logistics processes.

    Function

    In this position, you will be responsible for the logistics process in shipping. Your duties will include:

    • Checking incoming goods with packing list and work order;
    • Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing goods;
    • Shipping preparation and visual checking of orders;
    • Checking cargoes before departure;
    • Support colleagues in the warehouse as needed;
    • Ensuring a neat and safe workplace;
    • You thus contribute to efficient planning and execution of logistics processes within the organisation.

    Job requirements

    We are looking for a colleague who:

    • Have at least MBO working and thinking level, preferably towards logistics;
    • Has experience in a similar logistics role (preferred);
    • Experience with an ERP system (or willing to learn it);
    • In possession of a forklift certificate or willing to obtain one;
    • Accurate, planned and customer-oriented work;
    • Can work well together and remain calm in a dynamic environment.

    Offer

    Our client offers you:

    • A salary of €2,775 - €3,100 gross per month, depending on experience (full-time);
    • Fully reimbursed education and training through Soma Works;
    • Good fringe benefits, including pension accrual;
    • 25 holidays + 13 ADV days for full-time employment;
    • Travel allowance;
    • Directly employed by the client;
    • A collegial working atmosphere within a professional team;
