You create green oases in special places: roof gardens for individuals and businesses, high above the city where bare roofs come to life with plants, drainage and smart irrigation. Imagine transforming an urban roof with your team. You build layers resistant to weather and wind, plant sedum and borders, and see how the space will soon become a haven for relaxation or biodiversity. This work requires craftsmanship at height, responsible teamwork and a presentable attitude as a calling card with the client, with a friendly and motivated mindset that makes a difference.
Your duties as a landscaper laying roof gardens include:
- Inspect roof bearing capacity and prepare substrate with protective coatings and drainage;
- Application of substrate, sedum vegetation and various plants for green roofs...;
- Installing irrigation systems and finishing with borders, gravel or paving...;
- Checking and fine-tuning the garden so that it is immediately usable and low-maintenance.
What do we ask of you as a landscaper laying roof gardens?
- You have experience in construction work or are motivated to learn this trade;
- You are physically fit, enjoy working outdoors.
- Working safely and carefully is paramount for you, especially at heights;
- You are eager to learn, flexible and work well with colleagues;
- You communicate clearly, are customer-oriented and live (preferably) in the Venlo region.
