We have a vacancy for you as a bander - sheet metal worker (M/F) in Someren. Introduction
Our client operates in metalworking and production of high-quality sheet metal parts for a variety of industries. To strengthen the production team, we are looking for a Bander with technical affinity, who works with precision and care. As a Kanter, you will contribute to the processing of sheet metal into high-quality end products, where technical insight and cooperation are key.
Function
As a Bender, you will be responsible for setting, operating and adjusting press brakes and processing sheet metal according to technical drawings. Your duties include:
- Setting up and operating press brakes and CNC machines for bending sheet metal;
- Reading, interpreting and applying technical drawings;
- Checking products for size and quality;
- Performing (preventive) maintenance on machines and tools;
- Ensuring a safe and orderly workplace;
- Thinking along on process improvements and efficiency where necessary;
- You will work independently but also with colleagues to achieve production and quality requirements.
Job requirements
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has technical understanding and experience with bending or sheet metal working (experience with CNC is a plus);
- Be able to read technical drawings and apply them in execution;
- Able to work independently, accurately and with an eye for quality;
- Mastering the Dutch language in word and writing;
- Willing to further develop your knowledge within metalworking and manufacturing.
