Are you analytically strong, accurate and experienced in laboratory work? We are looking for a driven Laboratory Assistant to join our team!
Function
What will you do as a lab technician?
- Sampling: Correctly and safely sample all common flows within the organisation using an ED-XRF;
- Sample pre-processing: You compile mixing samples based on various ratio types;
- Analyse: You will prepare and analyse samples for various parameters, including;
- pH, density, titrations and various gravimetric determinations;
- Combustion heat with a double dry bomb calorimeter system;
- Selfheating test, spectrophotometric determinations, ICP-OES and ED-XRF;
- Reporting: You will interpret, record and report data and analysis results.
Job requirements
What do you bring as a lab technician?
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level in a chemical or laboratory-oriented education;
- Experience with laboratory techniques and analytical equipment such as ED-XRF, ICP-OES and bomb calorimeters;
- Accurate, analytical and results-oriented;
- Good communication skills and a proactive work attitude;
- Willingness to work day shift (07:00 - 15:30).
