Function

As a Mechanic WTB, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of installations and troubleshooting to ensure smooth production. You play a key role in ensuring production progress by intervening quickly and efficiently when technical problems arise. These are your main duties:

Analyse, independently resolve and report plant malfunctions to ensure progress and minimise downtime;
Provide technical instructions and directions to third-party mechanics;
Contribute to small-scale improvements within the technical process;
Maintain tools and resources;
Actively think along to improve technical processes and situations;
Independently perform maintenance work based on inspections, consultations or scheduled work, both preventive and corrective.

Job requirements

As a Mechanic WTB, you are flexible, innovative, creative and proactive with keeping the machinery in operation. You can work independently, as well as in a team. In addition:

Are you in possession of an MBO 4 diploma in Mechanical Engineering;
Do you hold or are willing to obtain a VCA certificate;
Do you have several years' experience in a similar position within manufacturing;
Do you have a strong problem-solving ability and know how to resolve faults quickly;
Are you communicative and have a good command of the Dutch language.
