We have a vacancy for you as Pearls Operator (VAPRO A/B) in Sittard.

Introduction

The company specialises in the production of high-quality products and continuously focuses on optimisation and innovation. For the Pearls Plant which is still under construction, a motivated Operator is sought who will be responsible for operating and monitoring the production process. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring and adjusting the complete Pearls Plant installation, consisting of a dripcast unit, freeze dryers and cooling rooms. You also perform various production tasks, including cleaning installations, moving and refilling products and registering process parameters. Some of your work will take place in a freezing environment at -30⁰C.

Function

What is expected of you as a Pearls Operator:

Following start-up protocol, prepare plant for production, with strict safety requirements;
Starting the process and adjusting parameters in consultation with R&D;
Tracking and recording of process parameters;
Signal and report process deviations to R&D, Maintenance, Engineering and production management;
Performing various production operations such as; Connecting and starting up the dripcast installation;
Moving frozen semi-finished products to storage (-30⁰C);
Filling the finished product;
Perform and record quality checks.

Job requirements

What do you bring as a Pearls Operator:

You are in possession of a VAPRO A or B;
Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment;
Willingness to undertake additional education and training;
Strong communication skills;
No physical objections to working in a freezing room (-30⁰C) or frequent stair climbing;
Problem-solving, stress-resistant, accurate and enterprising.

Offer

For the work you will perform as an operator within 2 shifts, you can obviously expect something nice in return, namely:

A salary between €3500 and €4200 gross per month;
12 % shift allowance;

8.33% holiday pay;
Travel allowance;
If you perform well, you will receive a contract with the client at short notice.
