Function

As a Pump Mechanic, you will be performing various tasks on pumps on a daily basis. This makes your work very varied and challenging. Your duties will consist of the following tasks:

Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, overhaul and assembly of pumps both in the workshop and on site;
Installation and removal of pumps and pumping systems;
Pressing and testing of pumps by means of a test bench;
Using a laser alignment system to align the pumps;
Document work and note details on your own Ipad;
Communicating with customers about requirements and giving advice.

Job requirements

As a Pump Technician, you are a techie at heart. You get a lot of freedom and can handle this well. In addition:

Have completed MBO WTB or other technical training;
Don't need to have pump experience but a healthy dose of technical acumen;
Is it a plus if you can read drawings and have some knowledge of electrical;
Can work well in a team but also independently;
Are you enthusiastic and flexible;
Are you in possession of a B driving licence.
