We have a vacancy for you as a Work Planner/Calculator (M/F) in Someren. Introduction
Our client is looking for a Calculator / Work Planner who translates customer requests into clear and complete production orders. You work at the interface of technology and organisation and ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently and according to plan. Your technical insight and accurate working methods enable production teams to perform optimally.
Function
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and calculation of work orders within production. You are the connecting link between customers, sales, purchasing and production and ensure that all technical and administrative data are correctly registered in the ERP system. Your duties include:
- Process customer requests into complete work orders in the ERP system;
- Preparation of calculations and quotations based on technical drawings, operations and material costs;
- Checking technical data, tolerances and specifications;
- Coordinate with customers, sales, purchasing and production on technical details and delivery times;
- Monitor completeness, quality and progress of order information;
- Identify deviations and contribute to improvements in the work process.
Job requirements
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Experience as a work planner and/or calculator within metalworking or manufacturing industries;
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings;
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Knight IQ or similar);
- Works accurately and communicates clearly with customers and colleagues;
- Able to work independently, maintain an overview and think proactively in terms of solutions;
- Has an MBO education in engineering; practical experience is highly appreciated.
