Function<\/h4>\n

As a Pump Mechanic, you will be performing various tasks on pumps on a daily basis. This makes your work very varied and challenging. Your duties will consist of the following tasks:<\/p>

  • Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, overhaul and assembly of pumps both in the workshop and on site;<\/li>
  • Installation and removal of pumps and pumping systems;<\/li>
  • Pressing and testing of pumps by means of a test bench;<\/li>
  • Using a laser alignment system to align the pumps;<\/li>
  • Document work and note details on your own Ipad;<\/li>
  • Communicating with customers about requirements and giving advice.<\/li> <\/ul><\/div>\n\r\n

    Job requirements<\/h4>\n

    As a Pump Technician, you are a techie at heart. You get a lot of freedom and can handle this well. In addition: <\/p>

    • Have completed MBO WTB or other technical training;<\/li>
    • Don't need to have pump experience but a healthy dose of technical acumen;<\/li>
    • Is it a plus if you can read drawings and have some knowledge of electrical;<\/li>
    • Can work well in a team but also independently;<\/li>
    • Are you enthusiastic and flexible;<\/li>
    • Are you in possession of a B driving licence.<\/li> <\/ul>
